About

My name is Tina Horton and I was born and raised in a large family in the city of Niagara Falls.  I have been married to my husband Dan for 24 years and we have two children.

For the past 19 years I have worked as a Vocational Coordinator with individuals with acquired brain injuries. I assist our clients with returning back to the work force following their injury.  I continue to love my job and the individuals that I support daily.

As our children got older we started to realize that we had more time on our hands to do some activities that normally we couldn’t fit in our busy schedule. My sister and I attended several stenciling classes and thought “this is fun and we are pretty good at it.”  Both my husband and brother in law are also very talent in woodworking.  So we decided to put all of our talents together and start a small business making signs from recycled pallet wood.  In October 2016 Paradise Point Creations was established.  The name is dedicated our family cottage in Bancroft, Ontario.

Our business is hand painted crafted pallet signs with a variety of saying/ quotes on them. Our signs are on 100 percent reclaimed pallet wood. Every sign is perfectly unique, no two are the same. It is truly a hand crafted product. Custom made and hand painted. Our signs come in a variety of sizes and styles and several different stain colours.

This family business has been an excellent experience for all of us.  We have definitely learned to work together, listen to each others opinions and respect the value of teamwork. But most of all we have fun gathering together, making signs in my kitchen and spending time as a family.
